Traffic Advisor Skill

The playbook that keeps your AI from freelancing.

The app gives your assistant data and tools. The Skill tells it how to work: read the account first, follow a proven PPC or SEO workflow, prefer MCP integrations over guessing, stage changes for review, and leave a clear trail for the human operator.

Status

PPC is available. SEO/AEO is the next packaged Skill.

Traffic Advisor already exposes PPC and SEO data through the app, MCP, and API. The Skill layer is where the operating rules live.

PPC Skill

Available now

The packaged PPC Skill is available now as google-ads-ecom-optimizer.zip. It covers Google Ads optimization for ecommerce, with emphasis on Performance Max, Shopping, Search, Merchant feed checks, conversion integrity, search terms, and disciplined change management.

  • Audit foundation-up: conversion tracking before bids or structure
  • Diagnose PMax and Search with account data instead of generic advice
  • Protect Smart Bidding learning by batching and sizing changes
  • Use Traffic Advisor MCP tools to stage, not publish, account changes

SEO/AEO Skill

Coming soon

The next Skill package will cover SEO and AI-search visibility. It will use Traffic Advisor's SEO snapshots, Search Console data, audit ledger, and live verification loop.

  • Prioritize technical SEO, rankings, content gaps, and backlinks
  • Frame AEO and GEO as SEO fundamentals applied to AI search surfaces
  • Create content briefs from real ranking and Search Console data
  • Verify fixed audit items against the live site before closing them

Operating contract

What the Skill enforces.

The goal is not to make the assistant more confident. The goal is to make it more constrained, more useful, and easier to audit.

Use MCP before guessing

Pull account, creative, keyword, feed, SEO, and audit state through Traffic Advisor tools before recommending action.

Stage before publish

Assistant proposals land in Traffic Advisor's review queue. Spend-relevant work still needs a human review and publish action.

Respect platform rules

PPC work follows Google character limits, slot minimums, paused-first creation, and Smart Bidding change discipline.

Keep docs current

When the agent changes product surfaces, API capabilities, or roadmap status, it updates the public site and internal docs together.

Coordinate follow-up

Calendar and Email MCP workflows are planned so the Skill can turn findings into scheduled action items and daily review queues.

Verify closure

SEO fixes are not marked done on faith. Traffic Advisor re-checks the live page and records whether the issue is verified or reopened.

Install surfaces

Use the same brain from the app, desktop, or command line.

Traffic Advisor is built around MCP plus Skill instructions. You can use the hosted review app, an assistant connector, or direct API access depending on your workflow.

Web / Desktop

For Claude and ChatGPT users.

In the app, open Setup -> AI assistants. Claude Desktop users can download the Traffic Advisor desktop extension. ChatGPT users can connect the hosted MCP endpoint from developer-mode connectors.

  • Endpoint: https://app.kleosinc.com/mcp
  • Claude Desktop extension: kleos-adsmcp.mcpb
  • Workspace access keys start with kls_ and are revocable
CLI / API

For advanced agent workflows.

Use the REST API for read-only scripts and the MCP endpoint for staged proposals. This is the route for Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and custom command-line automations.

  • REST v1 is read-only and keyed per workspace
  • MCP stage tools write only to Traffic Advisor queues
  • Every staged assistant action returns a review link

Integration roadmap

The full Skill loop connects work to time and communication.

These integrations are intentionally separated from current shipped claims until the Skill package and setup path are finished.

Traffic Advisor MCP

Available

The required data and staging connection for assistant workflows. This is the source of truth for account and SEO state.

Calendar MCP

Planned

Schedule reminders with step-by-step action items, such as re-checking a PMax change after the learning window or rerunning an SEO audit.

Email MCP

Planned

Review daily email against the Skill's operating rules and identify platform notices, disapprovals, or follow-ups that need action.
